So my Playstation 2 just died.
Sure, that may sound like a stupid First-world problem, but I’ve had memories with that thing. I’ve had it since god knows when and it’s served for hundreds of hours. It kept working past the new generation, and I amassed like 50+ games for it. Today I turn it on to play some Gran Tourismo 4, and it makes these harsh whirring and grinding sounds, then gets stuck with the tray open. After fixing it, I find that absolutely none of the discs are being read, meaning that the laser reader is shot, and that my playstation is done. So now I’m a bit down.
Anyway, I’ll try to fix it for the hundredth time, although I think that this is the end. The parts to fix it will probably be more expensive than buying my friend’s, so I’ll probably do that.
